Movement Assessments

Your Movement Assessment is a pillar of your training plan.  Poor mobility and strength can limit your endurance training progress and potentially lead to injury.  Each Customized Training Plan will include an initial Movement Assessment to identify key mobility and strength areas to work on and also help determine how to progress your cardio training.  Our Coaching Packages include an initial Movement Assessment along with follow ups on a regular basis so we can adjust your training as you continue to improve.

Movement Assessment Options

Movement Assessments can be done online or in person.  For the online option, you’ll fill out a questionnaire, take video of yourself performing each movement, and then send them to Carrie for review.  Based on your movement patterns, she may request some additional videos.  Once this is complete, she’ll create the strength and mobility portion of your training along with whichever Customized Training Plan or Coaching Package you choose.  You’ll receive videos of each exercise in your program, and after you review these you’ll have a 30 minute Zoom call with Carrie to review your Movement Assessment and go over any questions you may have.

For the in person option, you’ll meet with Carrie to perform the assessment and review the exercises instead of submitting them online and reviewing via Zoom.  These sessions will be 90 minutes long.  Contact us for details or with any questions.
