Strength Training is an important part of endurance training. For many athletes, though, it is either non-existent or afterthought. Incorporating strength training into your plan can help keep your bones and tissues strong, improve recovery, and help in injury prevention. And you can get faster! Our training plans include video descriptions for each exercise. You’ll get strength, mobility, foam rolling, and stretching exercises for a well rounded program.

Strength Training Plan I
Strength Training Plan I includes a mobility warm up, whole body workouts, foam rolling, and stretching. This is a great choice for those who have not been lifting weights regularly or are new to strength training. We’ll get a whole body workout and keep the movements simple so you can get a feel for what it is like to work different muscle groups. See the link below for more details and to view a sample week.
You’ll need some equipment and/or a gym membership for these exercises. Equipment needs include: foam roller, exercise bands, light to moderate weights (dumbbells or kettlebells work well), a stable box or step that supports your weight when you step on and off of it.
